Debbie, Joe, Jamie and I had our morning Starbucks. We could not be quite so leisurely this morning. We had breakfast in the hotel restaurant.
I had a delicious Avocado Toast. It had toast, avocado, cheese and poached eggs. Yummy. Other people did different things for their breakfasts.
Today the half marathon was happening so roads were closed off. We had started dealing with this yesterday. The new plan was that Jamie, Pam, Linda, Debbie & Joe would go to the airport car rental via the T instead of walking to the Alamo (which was close). Our plan was not going to change. The Concierge assured us that the Enterprise people could get through with our vehicle. So I decided to be trusting. So the first shift left at 8 am. Little did we know that we should have joined them. I had to help Rebecca with putting on her sari. We should have done a practice session. But we managed.
We waited until our 9 am drop off time, and guess what? Our vehicle could not get through. So all of a sudden we had to shift plans and go to the airport for our vehicle. We ended out taking a Lyft, but it took them 3 tries to get through to pick us up. I was getting quite nervous. I did not want to miss the wedding. I all worked out. We got to Ipswich in time to relax a little and to redo Rebecca's sari.
