Thursday: Galena to Defiance

We took our morning walk with Mucci.  Every time we have gone on a different route.  They have a lot of trails.  It was much cooler after the rain last night.

We drove to Defiance Ohio. It is about a 2 1/2 hour drive.  Nathan drove the first half and George drove the second half.  We arrived around noon, just in time for lunch. We had fresh corn, quiche and fruit.

After lunch we all went on a walk.  We] stopped at a neighbor's home.  They wanted us to tour their yard.I was a beautiful yard with lots to see.  They have already staked out where their ashes will be buried.

A lot of mosaic and glass work around

An old bridge that broght from somewhere
The same neighbor is the one who did Dorothy and Ed's stained glass

George S and Amelia left so that Amelia could take a nap and then Rob left. Dorothy, Nathan and I went grocery shopping. We started working on dinner.  It was a group effort.

George S, Valeria and Amelia returned in time for dinner. We had a very nice dinner with salmon, green bean & tofu stir-fry and rice.  Nathan made a cookie, brownie dessert.
