The tide was out so here is the beach view!!
It had sprinkled all night and into the morning, but we decided to go on a walk anyway. It was dry when we started but we were all damp by the time we got back.
We were really very slow moving, but we finally got on the road. We made a couple of stops on our way to lunch at the Side Door Cafe. One stop was the Red Cock. This is one of our favorite stores. It is full of Bohemian type clothes, unique jewelry and funky odds and ends. Last year we were thinking that it might not still be there because of a death in the family. This year we found that it had been bought. The new owners were going to keep the feeling of the store but have less in it and change it some. They were getting rid of a lot of the stock at very cheap prices. So we all bought stuff. They are aiming for local, fair trade and Bohemian. We will see what they make of it. They plan to do a big remodel.
We did not actually get our lunch until nearly 2 pm. I was really hungry.
I had a delicious tuna melt
After lunch one car with to the outlet mall and the other car went back to the house. Barbara, Olivia and I went back to the house.
On the way back to the house I saw this statue. After we got back I went on a long walk. It was a nice day so I did a beach walk.
There were several dead jellyfish washed ashore
Very nice weather. Sunny but not too hot.
Perfect time for a glass of wine.

Sharon, Barbara, Olivia & Kris - It is 5 o'clock somewhere.
Around 7 pm the dinner crew got started.
regular salad, caprese skewers, shrimp cocktail, and I made masala dosas.
Then we had time to watch the sunset.
I wish I could photo shop that wire out of there.

Ah, what an evening. It was clear enough that we got to see the stars but no shooting stars. I even went out around 2 am to check it out. Maybe there were too many porch lights on.
