We had a leisurely morning. Madeline made oatmeal. We had it with apples, blueberries, and strawberries.
We did a neighborhood walk which ended at a close park.

Not only a book lending library but stick lending as well.
Eric, friend of Nathan's, joined us for a short time at the park. We found out that he lives fairly close to Madeline.
Today was somewhat of a repeat from yesterday but we did it in a slightly different way. We drove to the South Bellevue park and ride where we could get the Link light rail to the waterfront. Roman dropped Dorothy and Ed off and he and Ivan went to do a Ukrainian Easter event.
The first stop was lunch.
We ate at the Bottega Gabriele
I had a tuna melt, but the most unusual tuna melt. Piccante Tuna Melt - Nduja (spicy spreadable cured pork sausage), melted trio of Sardinian cheeses, mayo, lemon juice, tomato, and arugula. It was tasty but definitely spicier than I had been expecting.

We were hanging around near the Seattle Art Museum so that Roman could drop off Ivan.
We went to check out the "famous" gross gum wall.
We got Ivan and then meandered our way to the water taxi to go to West Seattle.
It was a little windy up front.
We hopped on the free 775 bus which did a nice loop. Our goal was ice cream.

Statue of Liberty replica
The Boy Scouts of America placed approximately 200 replicas of the Statue of Liberty across the United States between 1949 and 1952 as part of their “Strengthen the Arm of Liberty” campaign. These statues were installed in 39 states, along with territories, to celebrate the organization's 40th anniversary. These statues are typically 8' tall, 290-pound copper replicas positioned on concrete pedestals in city parks, schoolyards, and near libraries or courthouses
Some smart person set up 2 saunas by the beach for those crazy people who went into the cold water.
We got back on the bus and finished the loop to Seacrest Marina. We were a little early for the water taxi.
We got on the taxi and headed back.
Now it was time to think about dinner. Nathan and I had to get back to the King Street Station to head home. Our train was scheduled to leave at 7:50 pm. George was going to stay an added day. We ended out at Noi Thai restaurant near the Seattle Art Museum.
We had a delicious meal. The most unusual presentation of a dish was George's curry dish. It came in an actual coconut with a glass of coconut water. It was very tasty.
We all left to get on the light rail. Nathan, George, and I got off at the Amtrak stop. Roman was meeting us at the train station with our luggage. Then George went back with Roman.
It was an uneventful trip back to Portland. We took a Lyft ride home with a stop to drop Nathan off at a MAX stop so that he could go on to his place.
