Kris drove us all to Depoe Bay.
Depoe Bay Memorial Wall by Whale Park. It honors those lost at sea.
We poked into some shops and I watched the waves.
The boats were all out watching the whales.
I might have seen a whale splash.
On the way back we stopped at a Specialty Farmers Market and Artisan Faire in Salishan, OR.
Pawcones made from knobcones, the most dense pine cone.
None of us bought anything.
Next stop was Mossy Creek Pottery. Sharon was looking for some bowls.
We went back to the house. After a short rest, Barbara S drove Sharon to the outlet mall and dropped me off at beach access point on their way.
I think that these are jellyfish remains
They picked me up on their way back to the house. It was very windy at the beach.
We had a 5:30 pm reservation at the Side Door Cafe. Just as we were leaving to go to the restaurant, Olivia hurt her knee going down the stairs. She was in a lot of pain, so Kris took her to the emergency room. They spent the evening there. So there were only 3 of us at dinner.
I had a delicious wild salmon dish.
My fortune cookie message was "Be prepared to modify your plan!" How appropriate.
Gorgeous sunset.
Sharon figured out how to get a jazz station on the TV. So we had some nice background music.
We had ordered some food to go for Kris and Olivia. It was after 9 pm when they made it back to the house to have their dinner. What a day. Olivia was still in a lot of pain. They had given her a walker and a knee brace.
