Sunday and Home

Barbara and I saw 3 deer.  The first 2 went by too quickly but I could get a picture of the third one.

Our group shot: me, Barbara S, Olivia, Kris

We had a chance to go on a short walk before we packed up to leave Lincoln City.

We left at 11 am and headed home with a quick stop at the outlet to return something and then lunch at the Golden Valley Brewery in McMinnville.

I had a Reuben.

Then we dropped Barbara off.  George met me at Kris'.  Olivia still had an hour's drive to get to Camus.

We had a good time but we did miss Joyce, Judy and Sharon.

Saturday at the Beach

We had a leisurely morning.  We all ate breakfast at different times.  Then once we had all eaten and were ready to go out, we went for a walk on the beach.

We had an early lunch of all the left over salad fixings.

We headed out to go to the outlet mall.  We checked on a few of our "regular"
stores on the way.  Unfortunately, we found most of them closed.  After the mall we headed home for a little while.

Then we went to the Freed Gallery.  As usual they had some stunning pieces.
I thought that this one is fun because it is of the Vista Bridge and you can see Nathan's apartment building in the background.  It is the yellow building.

From there we went to the Side Door Cafe for dinner.

My steak

The halibut special

What a delicious meal.  Side Door Restaurant has no plans to go back to being open for lunch.  That is disappointing.

The last two nights we have enjoyed watching the bats flying as it started to get dark.
