Sunday and home

Another cool and foggy day at the beach.

We relaxed a while and then went on a short walk before having to pack up the cars.

Kris and I decided to walk on the trail close to our apartment.

It wasn't long before the trail disappeared and we were lost.  We finally gave up and turned around to go back.  It was very pretty but we were hot and tired by the time we found our way home.  Nathan, you would have loved it.

Are we there yet????

The woods across the street was where we walked.  Judy parked her car sideways in the driveway because she did not like the steep driveway.

We checked out at 11 am and headed home.  Judy was going to hang around in Lincoln City.  We were planning lunch in McMinnville at 1882 Grille. We tried to make a reservation.  Joyce and I were in one car and Kris and Olivia were in the other.  We got to the restaurant at the same time.

My BLT was fabulous.  Kris had one, too.

Olivia had a pulled pork sandwich and Joyce had a burger.

After lunch, we headed straight home.  Joyce dropped me off at 3:00 pm.  

Portland is HOT, especially after the coolness of the beach.
