Saturday in Mount Vernon

Morning

Debbie and Joe's home

Our morning walk to the lake.  There were 22 fishing boats out on the lake. Today was the opening day of the fishing season.

Joe's car parking lot.

Phil

We had a tour of Debbie's work station with her new resin art projects.

Mt Baker

We drove to the local club to play pickleball

George wasn't actually going to play.

Ouch - Joe just tore his Achilles tendon!!  Game over.  We headed home.

Resting with a boot on his foot

George was helping Debbie with her computer

Nathan's feet were getting attacked by Phil

Belle

Testing for a tear or partial tear

Nathan helped to get plants down so they can be watered easier later.

Joe showed us some of the work he had been doing on his vehicles.

Joe has been on the phone a lot trying to set up doctor visits.

After a couple more card games and a neighborhood walk we went to dinner. We drove to downtown Mount Vernon.

Cork and Cleaver

What a delicious meal that I forgot to take pictures of.  I had a filet with brussels sprouts and sweet potatoes.  Yummy

We ordered the chocolate torte and the banana foster

Amazing

We got home in time for the sunset.
And of course, another rabble rousing card game.

  2. I hope Joe’s injury is not too serious. Seems pickleball can be dangerous! Beautiful sunset.
