Sunday and 5 parks later

We started with outdoor church in the park.  The kids lasted through the Children's Time and then we ended out at the park next to the covered area. When church was over everyone joined us.  Then we had a snack lunch.

Then we went to the Splash Pad.

Quite the fort climbing structure.  The difficult thing is that we could not see where the kids went. 

Home for nap

After nap we went to an empty parking lot so they could ride their bikes.

Does that count as a park??

DQ break

Got home and relaxed a little while.  We had bought a Papa Murphy's pizza for dinner.

They are continuing with the house construction. 

I think that we wore the kids out today.  It was hot and sunny.  No rain today.  

Saturday Aug 30

A long full day. The twins have been waking up early around 6 am.  It was pouring all morning today so no outside activities.  A lot of indoor playing.  When we ran out of ideas of things to do we went to McDonald's indoor play area.  That is THE place to be, I guess. After playing and lunch we drove home. Managed to get the twins to sleep in the car.  When they were napping.  Jeanne, Tristan and I watched Frozen.  Good movie.  Once the twins woke up from their naps we went to Brooke's birthday party (a friend of Tristan's)  I could not believe how brave the family was to invite about 7 family units to the party.  It was a fun party but definitely LOUD.

They have a great back yard.

I got my baby fix.  I got to hold Brooke's baby sister while Brooke opened her gifts.  Mom and Dad wanted to be able to take pictures.

After the party we headed home.  A little play before bath and bed.

Friday Aug 29

Today after breakfast and once we were all ready we drove to a nice park.  We passed this cool car and had to drive by it several times to make sure everyone got to see it.  The Westmoreland Park is very nice.  First one I have seen in a long time that has the spinner or merry-go-round.

As you can see - I don't do much except take pictures.  :-) They definitely love their grandma.

Tristan showed them a new way to go on the swings.  Monkey see, monkey do.  

Then we went to McDonald's.  there is one that has a cool indoor climbing structure.  They sure had fun with that.

After playing a while they had lunch then played then time for dessert.

That did not take long.

Then home for nap.  I am with Emmet and Liam as they nap.  Jeanne went to do some errands with Tristan.

It was supposed to rain today but so far it had been cloudy and muggy.  No rain.

More fun on Thursday

After naptime and Tristan came home from school we had bubble time.

Laura & Wilhelm are redoing their driveway and front steps.  A pile of dirt ... yippee.

After lunch we headed off to the Children's Museum.  Very impressive place.  

After the water play and change of clothes they played some more.

Interesting sign.  After running around 2 solid hours they both crashed on the way home, though truth be told it was me who wanted to crash..

When we got home they continued sleeping.  Jeanne went off to go get Tristan from school.
