relaxing Monday

Izzy helps MJ on the computer,  /We went to buy more plants for the yard.  MJ dropped  Jeanne and me off at a park to walk and Marckie and MJ went home to plant them while we walked.

The park was closed but we did not let that stop us.  Well we did actually ask an official if it was ok and we were told that it was fine.

Jeanne and I went on a walk in the Eagle Point Preserve.  We did not see any eagles but it was pretty.

MJ came back to pick us up. 

Once we got home I decided to take a picture of the front of the house in the sun.

Jeanne and I sat by the pool and then went swimming for a little while. Sorry no pictures.

What a feast we had.  We had steak and lobster tail as well as wild rice corn on the cob and salad.  It had been a long time since I had had lobster.

Sunday afternoon boat ride

We went on a nice afternoon boat ride.  What an enjoyable afternoon.

Jay made omelets for us for Mother's Day.  Mine was mushroom, onion and cheese.  

While Jay and Mike were golfing we went to buy flowers for the backyard.

Yes we got them all into the car.

Where's Marckie

Marckie and MJ hard at work.  Jeanne and I sat by the pool and cheered them on.

Then we all relaxed until Jay and Mike got home.

Saturday afternoon

After lunch we drove into town.  We went to an Emporium with a lot of little shops in it.  Antiques and new.  Fun.  Cheerwine is famous around here.  I guess it is a cherry cola.

MJ drove us around to look at all the old mansions.  They were amazing.

We stopped for lunch at the East Company and Wing.  It was very good.  Started with homemade kettle chips.  yummy.  

Strawberries are ripe now so we bought a flat.

Then home.  We all pitched in to make dinner.  It wend quickly with everyone helping

Dinner.  It was all very tasty.(even if I do say so myself)

After dinner we played a game of 99.  I won!! surprise, surprise!  Topped off the evening with strawberries and ice cream.
