Portland to Montrose, CA

Yesterday we were concerned that our flight would not happen.  Alaska had an IT problem and a lot of flights were canceled.  But everything looked ok this morning.  Nathan, George, and I left the house at 9 am to go to the airport.  

It was a rainy morning.

We decided to try the Park 'n Fly place. We dropped off the car and the shuttle was right there to take us to the airport.  It was very slick.

We left pretty much on time.  11:17 am to 1:30 pm.  I brought lunch to eat on the flight. 

Sunny in Burbank.  We rented a car.  We drove directly to Jamie & Pam's place.  Pam had just arrived with Ella & Nicole.  She picks the kids up from school every day. 

We had a chance to try a game of Enchanted Forest.  George won.  Well, we didn't actually finish a game.  Linda had come out for the weekend as well.  She came over.  Pam ordered Thai food and then we headed over to Sharon & Michael's (in Montrose).  Jamie was already over there. 

Some of us walked to the restaurant to pick up the dinner.  We sure had a lot of food.

We managed to fit in a game of Oh Pshaw!!

I realized that I made a packing error.  I had put 2 pair of capris in my packing pile.  I decided that I only needed 1 for the weekend so I put one back.  Then just before leaving the house, I had forgotten that I had already taken out 1 pair of capris so I took out the other one.  Now I have no capris and it it hot here.  Oh well.

Then we headed off to find our AirBnB.  We stopped at Trader Joes on our way.  We bought a few breakfast things.  The address of our place is odd.  There was a 2445, 2445A, and 2445 1/2.  We are in 2445.  And we were supposed to park our vehicle in front of two garages.

It is a 2 bedroom place.  It is also within walking distance of Sharon & Michael's.  Linda is in an AirBnB near Jamie and Pam.
