Wednesday in Galena, near Columbus

Sunrise
A morning walk with Mucci. Lisa had to work today, so she could not join us.  Rob is retired.

We went over to the community garden.  Rob has a plot.

After our walk we had breakfast and then got ready for our outing.  We drove to Westerville.  It is another little town close by.  We were going to Inniswoods Metro Garden. It is a very nice garden with trails and flowers and many sections geared towards kids.

The dragonflies were all over.  This one stayed put long enough for me to get the picture.
Cute story labyrinth.  The plaques on the ground were numbered.  They had parts of a story so you needed to follow the path to read the story in the correct sequence.

A fun house in the woods
A box turtle for a class for kids.
Poison Ivy.  It was all over.
Part of the trail was a board walk.  Very pretty but by now it was getting hot and humid.
We got back to the car and drove into downtown Westerville.
We dinked around in several shops. These stained glass pieces reminded me of your artwork, Sharon.

We decided to go for lunch.  I did not take any pictures.
The food was good.  After lunch we headed home to relax a while.  I had a 2 pm Zoom call to make.  When the call was over we drove back to Westerville for ice cream.
I had the Buckeye Breeze.
We wandered around town a bit more, but now stores were starting to close.
We did go into this tea shop.

Nathan and Mucci
We had a good dinner.  Lisa had made a tortelini pesto salad and Rob cut up a bunch of other vegies for a big green salad.  When they thought that it had cooled off a little they went on another walk.  I stayed home and took pictures of the clouds.
Cool cloud formations.  I think that it is gearing up for a rain.

Nathan, George and Rob made it home just it time.  It started pouring with thunder and lightning.  We tried to take some movies from the back yard, but it was too dark.  But both Nathan and I managed to get a little wet.
