Friday in Defiance

We went on our morning walk with Guinness and Dorothy

A crewel work piece I had done for George's mom years ago.  Dorothy inherited it and now it is the AirBnB right above our bed.

We went over to George S's place

Nice porch swing.  This swing was made by George's dad.  We have a picture of Nathan on this swing when he was 2 years old in Maple Lane, Pennsylvania. We went on a walk to tour Defiance.  Amelia likes to stand in the stroller. 

George's house is right by the tracks and trains go by all the time

Defiance is another cute little town, but many stores are closed.

Another town that encourages DORA.  This time it is Defiance Outdoor Refreshment Area.  This is a great idea

This weekend is their annual Jazz Festival.  We will miss it, but it was fun hearing the music.  They had loudspeakers around playing some tunes.

Upstairs was the adult section.  They had a lot of stained glass around.

It was lunch time so we walked back to Dos Eppi's.  It was a Puerto Rican place.

I had a house bowl.  It was very tasty.

We walked back to George's.  We played a game once Amelia was down for her nap.  Then we headed back to Dorothy & Ed's.  

We relaxed awhile.  I got ready to do a zoom call while we waited for Robbie to arrive.  

We had fajita for dinner.  I should have taken a picture of all the delicious things we could put on our fajitas.  

After dinner some people went on a walk. I helped clean up. 

George, Robbie, Amelia and Valerie.  George and Dorothy also joined them.  Nathan stayed back to make brownies. We finished the batch we made last night.  They got back just in time for the brownies and ice cream.

We played another game of 10, 9, 8. It was time to crash.

Nice family relaxing day.  At least the weather cooperated today.  It was cool most of the day.
