I checked out the sunrise.
Robbie and Martin were going golfing. They had an 8 am tee time. We waited for them to get moving before we had breakfast. We had a plan of going canoeing or kayaking but we had to wait until 10 am for the rental place to open. Our group was George S, Amelia, Dorothy, Mary, Nathan, George W, and me. We went in 2 cars.
We rented 2 canoes and 2 paddle boards. George S, Amelia, and Mary in one canoe, George W and Dorothy in the other canoe. Nathan and I each had a paddle board. Nathan really has caught on to how to balance on the paddle board. I was lazy (nervous) and stayed seated.
We went across the lake to the board walk where Kallie and Valerie met up with us. They were checking up on Amelia to see how she was doing.
At this point Nathan gave George S. a chance to try the paddle board.
He found a new way to do the paddle board
Nathan, Amelia, and Mary in the canoe.
Some people weren't ready to quit yet so I drove Dorothy, and Mary back.
Nathan got his paddle board back and the 2 Georges and Amelia got the canoe. Note that George S still hasn't put his paddle in the water.
The soup was just about ready by the time they got back. We took the soup over to Dorothy's.
After lunch Amelia came over to help Nathan make another batch of brownies.
Everyone went off in different directions for a while. Both Robbie and Martin took "power" naps. 3 hours later they woke up. Some of us played card games. Some went back out to the lake.
We headed out for dinner at the Brown Barn Tavern around 6 pm. There were 10 of us. Dorothy, Ed, Martha, & Paul were having dinner with their sister Margaret.
Surprise, surprise - they had a Hugo spritz on the menu.
It was delicious. Very refreshing.
Close up of the bubbles.
Amelia ordered a pretzel!!
My seafood risotto. It was very tasty.
We headed back to the cabin. We gathered in our cabin for ice cream and brownies and we tried to play some group party games. It was hard to come up with something. Nathan got us playing Poetry for Neanderthals. It is a funny game, like taboo, but you can only give one syllable word clues. I am terrible at it. Nathan and Robbie were especially good. We tried to play Pit but that was not so successful. Everyone headed out around 9:30 pm. Nathan, George S, Robbie, & Martin (the 4 cousins) had a chance to play Settlers out on the porch.

Looks like a fun day!
